I am a software engineer experienced in developing firmware for in house embedded prototypes. The continuous learning involves in prototype development is my motivation. I am always seeking to learn. You can contact me on linkedin.

Experience

Embedded Firmware Research Engineer

I'm in charge of developing firmware for embedded devices and new sensors.

January 2022 - Present

Embedded Firmware Research Engineer

I was in charge of developing firmware for embedded devices. My role was to analyse prototypes for any hardware issues to be fixed by the hardware team and to write the firmware that was needed for the prototype to operate.

August 2019 - December 2021

Embedded Firmware Developer Intern

Development of a MEMS microphones array for monitoring urban noise pollution. The internship required to analysed and modified an existing prototype and to write the firmware to drive the microphone array.

February 2019 - May 2019

Software Developer Intern

I have developed a software to create trigger zones on tactile wall. The entire wall is touch enable and my software was used to design and assign certain area as logic triggers.

April 2017 - May 2017

Education

Haute Ecole en Hainaut

Master of Engineering
Computer Science - Embedded Systems and Automation

Greatest Distinction

My master's thesis was: Designing an auto-guiding system for a telescope equatorial mount.

In this thesis, I have computerized the mount myself and also written the auto-guiding algorithm in python. Based on the output of the algorithm, commands were sent to an arduino managing the motors

Interests

Apart from being a firmware engineer, I enjoy most of my time by practicing music and astronomy. I have been playing guitar for 11 years and been a member of several bands. I used to play live, it teaches me to be comfortable in front of a public.

I have been practicing astronomy since 2014 and started astrophotography in 2019. Astrophotography is a demanding hobby that required focus and sharp technical skills to get most of my telescope and camera. I am a member of the Olympus Mons astronomy club where I share my knowledge with people. During the pandemic, I have helped organise online events for the club.
